IShowSpeed wants to buy pro football team with MrBeast sooner than you think

As a streaming sensation like IShowSpeed, I’ve got my eyes on teaming up with MrBeast to own a slice of an MLS club. Who knows? This dream partnership might materialize faster than many would anticipate!

Over the course of his streaming career, IShowSpeed has primarily focused his content on football, also known as soccer. He frequently played FIFA/EA SPORTS FC, collaborated with pro players online, and dons a personalized jersey during live broadcasts.

Apart from the field, he also actively participates. Frequently, he takes part in charity games – such as leading the YouTube All-Stars team in the Sidemen Charity Match – and even dabbled in the Baller League.

As a die-hard fan, I find myself yearning for the day when my hero, Cristiano Ronaldo, graces the field of the team he represents. However, instead of merely dreaming about it, I’m actively pursuing the opportunity to own a club within the Major League Soccer (MLS).

At the MLS All-Star event held in Austin, Texas, over the weekend, Speed was questioned about potential investment in a team with another creative individual. Without hesitation, he mentioned Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson as his partner.

MrBeast and I discussed the possibility of investing in an MLS team fifty years from now, as he shared with Front Office Sports. Yet, he soon adjusted that timeframe.

“No, not even 50 years from now, 20 years from now! We would be pretty set.”

Although they might not bear the hefty prices common among European clubs, Major League Soccer (MLS) teams remain significantly valuable. Forbes ranks Los Angeles FC as the most expensive among them, boasting a value of approximately $1.25 billion.

In simpler terms, the local team of YouTube star MrBeast, known as Charlotte FC, is valued at approximately $700 million, ranking them as the 12th most expensive soccer club globally.

Similar to Speed, the renowned YouTube personality shares a passion for football, collaborating on videos with stars like Ronaldo and Neymar. Additionally, he’s participated in several charity matches organized by the Sidemen, and has even attended Lionel Messi’s games for Inter Miami.

MrBeast is striving to accumulate a substantial amount of money, in the hundreds of millions, for his business ventures. However, it remains uncertain whether he’ll fulfill Speed’s aspiration.
