Popular streamer IShowSpeed was surprised by how expensive his recent US tour was to run.
In late August, IShowSpeed kicked off a massive streaming tour, traveling for 35 days and hitting 25 states across America. The popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer has covered a lot of ground, from the East Coast and Midwest, and is now making his way to the West Coast.
Although the tour has attracted a large audience, it’s faced several problems. Speed has encountered issues with the police, including a threat of a rioting charge, and fans have been driving recklessly close to his tour bus.
As the project nears completion, Speed’s team has been calculating the final costs, and the total was much higher than he anticipated.
Speed’s USA tour cost over $1 million
“About how much did this whole tour cost?” Speed asked a member of his team. “All in all, around seven figures,” his cameraman, Slipz, responded.
Speed exclaimed he’d already spent seven figures on the tour, adding, “I don’t even realize how much because I’m constantly streaming and spending.”
Slipz told him he’d accidentally spent $1500 at Nike, because Speed had been paying for everyone. The streamer realized he’d spent a lot of money on the tour and was then informed he probably hadn’t even made a profit.

Travel is one of his major costs. He’s been touring in a specially-made bus that cost about $300,000, and his team has also been renting cars in every city they’ve stopped in.
Honestly, keeping him safe is expensive, but it’s totally understandable. With so many fans always wanting to be near him, you really have to make sure he’s protected wherever he goes.
Speed is also hoping to stream from Africa and Antarctica sometime in the future, and it’s hard to say how expensive those streams might be.
