IShowSpeed hits 41M subs after sweeping YouTuber Daniel Labelle in a sprint race

As a gamer, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement as I, myself, reach an astounding 41 million subscribers – all within moments of leaving YouTuber Daniel Labelle dust in a lightning-fast footrace!

Boasting more than 35 million followers, Daniel Labelle has made a name for himself by producing side-splitting videos featuring his unique road-running antics. In one video, he playfully drags various children’s toys along as he sprints, while in another amusing clip, he competes against the Easter bunny in a race, dressed as the Grinch.

On March 11, 2025, Labelle challenged Speed to a race, but it wasn’t until May 11, 2025 that the popular YouTuber watched the video and remained unresponsive about the challenge.

At the beginning of June, nevertheless, Speed agreed to take on the task, and they arranged a meeting only two weeks afterward.

On Monday, June 23, the long-awaited race took place, and IShowSpeed secured another victory for himself.

IShowSpeed beats Daniel Labelle in race

At a neighborhood high school’s athletic track, these two YouTube personalities convened for a friendly sprint competition. After a brief warm-up, they were all set to determine which one was the swiftest among them. Given their dedication to running in their videos, viewers found it hard to predict the winner.

In a swift turn of events, IShowSpeed clinched victory in the sprint race with a considerable lead, and moments afterwards, surpassed a fresh mark on YouTube by gaining a significant number of new subscribers.

“And we hit 41 million subs… Let’s go!” Speed said.

The two raced a second time just minutes later, but IShowSpeed beat Labelle again.

His victory follows closely on the heels of IShowSpeed’s triumph in four contests against popular lifestyle influencer Ashton Hall, whose morning routine videos gained widespread attention in March.
