IShowSpeed declared that he would broadcast simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube, giving his viewers the flexibility to watch from either service. In fact, not only did he claim the number one position on YouTube, but he also maintained dominance on Twitch, holding the top rankings concurrently on both platforms.
IShowSpeed has shattered several livestreaming milestones and is recognized globally as a traveler, athlete, and entertainer. These days, he’s involved in much more than just streaming video games; however, he occasionally returns to this pastime for collaborative gaming marathons with Kai Cenat.
His global journeys have captivated viewers around the world, leaving them eagerly anticipating his next destination. After a long hiatus, he opted to share his travel experiences live on both Twitch and YouTube.
While his YouTube audience is significantly larger than his Twitch followers, remarkably, he simultaneously held the number one position for live streaming on both platforms.
IShowSpeed shows streaming dominance on Twitch and YouTube
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that Twitch has become more flexible with their rules regarding multi-platform streaming. Now, I can stream my gameplay simultaneously across different platforms. Interestingly, even IShowSpeed, who was once banned from Twitch indefinitely, is back and streaming again.
speed’s return to Twitch has proven to be successful. Although he only attracts a small portion of his YouTube audience on the platform, this smaller group is significantly larger than what most Twitch streamers typically draw in.
IShowSpeed is currently the most watched streamer on Youtube & Twitch with 500,000 viewers 🤯🇹🇷
— Speedy Updates (@SpeedUpdates1) July 13, 2025
On YouTube and Twitch, his viewership soared past 437,000 and 48,000 viewers respectively, making him a clear leader on both platforms. While it’s not entirely out of the question that this high viewership could be partly due to a quieter morning on Twitch, it’s also worth noting that his popularity remains strong regardless of the time of day.
Large esports tournaments or live streaming events by popular streamers often surpass the 48,000-viewer mark, but with major events such as League of Legends’ MSI concluding, there weren’t many other happenings on Twitch capable of attracting massive viewership.
But what was Speed doing that attracted so much attention?
IShowSpeed PASSES OUT on a rollercoaster in Turkey 😭🇹🇷
— Speedy Updates (@SpeedUpdates1) July 13, 2025
He became so terrified on a roller coaster that he fainted, reaching the climax of his thrilling amusement park experience in Turkey. Live-streaming his rides on roller coasters, water slides, and various other attractions significantly boosted his viewership, temporarily placing him at the top of two major streaming platforms globally.
