Is Daredevil: Born Again’s Finale Episode 9 Worth Watching?

Tonight is when the final episode of “The Daredevil: Born Again” series comes out, and it includes a collaboration with “The Punisher”. Therefore, don’t forget to check when Episode 9 will be available.

In last week’s thrilling installment of Daredevil, the episode concluded with an edge-of-your-seat cliffhanger. Having managed to break out of prison, Bullseye infiltrated Kingpin’s grand ball and positioned himself for a lethal shot aimed at eliminating Kingpin once and for all.

Meanwhile, Matt noticed Dex preparing his gun, and at the very instant Dex fired, he sprang forward to shield Fisk, absorbing the bullet instead.

As a devoted viewer, I can’t help but wonder if Fisk’s perspective towards Matt might soften in the upcoming episode. Will Bullseye find himself back behind bars once more? And what role will Frank Castle play in the finale of Daredevil: Born Again, which airs soon on Disney Plus? I, for one, can hardly wait to find out!

When is the Daredevil: Born Again finale out?

Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9 will be released at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The Man Without Fear won’t appear for some time now, but fear not! Production on Season 2 is underway, and keep an eye out as there have been numerous leaks (so be cautious on social media). Here’s when the finale will air in various regions:

  • 1pm New Zealand
  • 8pm CT
  • 10pm Brazil
  • 1am UK (April 16)
  • 2am CEST (April 16)
  • 6:30am India Standard Time (April 16)
  • 11:30am Australia (April 16)

How many episodes are there?

There are nine episodes in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again.

Initially, the project consisted of 18 episodes while it was overseen by Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Later, they left the production, and Dario Scardapane (previously involved in The Punisher) took over as the new showrunner. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead were appointed as the main directors for the series.

In my gaming world, I decided to streamline the Daredevil series for a more significant impact. Sharing insights on the Phase Hero podcast, Marvel TV’s head honcho, Brad Winderbaum, explained it as follows: “Initially, we aimed for a longer format with Daredevil. We wanted to dive deep into this character and the bustling city of New York, crafting an ensemble instead.

Afterwards, we gained numerous insights from our approach. Due to several factors such as work stoppages caused by strikes, we were afforded the opportunity to reevaluate our episodes and recognize their value.

“These are simply the top nine episodes, and they give a strong impression of an outstanding first season. I believe this show has the potential to continue for many more seasons.

What will happen in Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9?

In terms of what’s been revealed so far regarding Daredevil: Born Again Episode 9, we only know that it will involve a collaboration between Daredevil and The Punisher; however, the reason behind this team-up remains uncertain.

In the trailers, brief clips of them fighting as a team have been featured, and Frank appears to sport a clean-shaven look and a new hairstyle. Whether Karen will reappear isn’t certain yet, but fans are eagerly anticipating her potential return.

It seems like we’re in store for another intense, violent sequence involving Kingpin, as suggested by the trailer where a brief scene depicts Fisk with blood on his hand after apparently wiping his face, and he remarks, “sometimes order requires disorder.

Regardless of what transpires, it’ll pave the way for our second season. Executive producer Sana Amanat shared, “We’ve had a fantastic time and have filmed numerous thrilling scenes.

The team is doing exceptionally well, and there’s no let-up in the excitement. Although it’s still New York City, we find ourselves in a slightly altered version of the city.
