Ironmouse quits VShojo over $500,000 charity dispute

Ironmouse, a well-known VTuber, recently disclosed her decision to depart from VShojo. She alleges that the organization owes more than half a million dollars to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but share the news that the renowned streamer, Ironmouse, has decided to part ways with VShojo, her talent agency, as she revealed in an unexpected YouTube video on July 21st.

As a gamer, I’m speaking up about an unfortunate situation. The VTuber I follow is yet to receive a substantial sum of money she’s rightfully entitled to, and it turns out the Immune Deficiency Foundation is owed more than half a million dollars too. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but we’re hoping for a fair resolution soon.

The VTuber received a diagnosis of Common variable immunodeficiency, a type of immune system disorder. During challenging times, this charity provided support for her. In fact, she values the Immune Deficiency Foundation so highly that she donates half of her annual earnings from subathons to them.

She acknowledged that there’s a lot to discuss and emphasized her sincerity in disclosing all details. However, for the moment, she’s been advised by her lawyer to hold off on revealing more until the legal process progresses further. Later on, she promised she would divulge the complete story.

As an ardent admirer, I’m sharing Ironmouse’s account of her groundbreaking subathon: She communicated with VShojo asking them to process the donations on her behalf due to safety concerns regarding payments. Amazingly, it has been a year now, and these donations have not been handled by VShojo as yet.

As such, going forward, she would no longer be part of VShojo.

According to her, the Immune Deficiency Foundation is yet to receive more than half a million dollars from VShojo. Currently, she works as an individual virtual streamer.

Ironmouse has shared her intention to hold a unique live broadcast sometime in July, aiming to collect funds for charity. She also emphasized that she continues to view VTuving as a positive influence.

To my community I love you all dearly and thank you. 💔
