I’m so excited! Inti Creates just announced a brand new action RPG called Kingdom’s Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster, and it’s coming out everywhere – on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam – on April 23rd! I can’t wait to play it!
In this game, you’ll restore a fallen kingdom by constructing buildings wherever you choose. You’ll collect the resources needed for construction by winning battles in fast-paced, 2D action levels.

Kingdom’s Return is an action RPG where you embark on a quest to rebuild a ruined kingdom. Explore side-scrolling levels to gather resources, then use those materials to strategically restore your kingdom and strengthen your heroes!
Story
You’re a solitary adventurer in a land filled with swords, magic, and fairies, and you’ve unexpectedly been given the responsibility of restoring the fallen kingdom of Almacia, aided by the Fairy of Time, Chronos.
Through adventure (action) and revival (strategy), restore the kingdom to its former glory!

Kingdom’s Return combines action with strategy for an addictive hybrid experience!
As a player, I’m really excited about how the game mixes things up! You go on adventures to gather resources you’ll need to build stuff, and all the while, you’re also making your kingdom and characters stronger. It’s a cool combination of action and strategy!
You can win the game by playing equally on both sides, or by focusing mostly on just one.

When rebuilding your kingdom, the type of castle you select at the start will change how you build.
As you fill the land with buildings, the characters you take on adventures will also grow stronger.

The playable cast is brimming with personality!
Start your adventure by choosing from “Imperial”, “Wizard”, “Alchemist”, and “Zipangu”.
Each has unique stats, skills and attacks, so choose the one that fits your action style!
Feel free to switch between characters whenever you’re in your kingdom, giving you plenty of different looks and options!
