Inside ‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All’: Witnessing Carolina’s Tearful Walkout, Her TikTok-Fueled Drama With Dina and the Return of the Llama

HEADS UP: In this write-up, I’m dishing out the juicy spoilers from “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All,” currently available for streaming on Hulu.

In the past, ‘The Women Tell All’ event served as a platform for contestants who were eliminated from ‘The Bachelor’ to share their thoughts on the season and settle differences following their unsuccessful attempts to win the final rose. This time was no exception, filled with significant moments, notably heated discussions involving a contentious participant. The episode featured emotional walkouts, evidence from social media, and even the return of a beloved llama mascot. As a reporter, I was present at the recording on March 1st, which ran from 1 PM to 6:30 PM Pacific Time (with breaks for quick interviews, as well as snacks).

As a devoted fan, I found myself thrilled to witness the reunion of fifteen out of the original twenty-five contestants who had vied for Grant Ellis’ heart, excluding the final three: Zoe McGrady, Litia Garr, and Juliana Pasquarosa. It was no surprise that the talkative one among them, Carolina Quixano, stole the show during this gathering.

Throughout the entire season, Carolina, who got eliminated in Episode 5, has been a contestant that people either adored or disliked. From the very beginning at filming, she caused quite a stir with her striking blue jacket adorned with quotes about herself from the show and the internet. One of the most noticeable phrases on the jacket read, “I’m crazy and evil.” However, during the episode, Carolina seemed to be more defensive as she argued, “Regardless of what I did, everything was perceived as a problem.

Initially, Carolina and Dina Lupancu were friends, but their relationship shifted in Episode 4 when Dina stood up for Carolina after she felt slighted by only receiving one date with Grant. However, the friendship soured in Episode 5 as Carolina alienated other women by repeatedly complaining about insufficient time with Grant. By the time “The Women Tell All” rolled around, Dina had issues to address.

Dina shared with EbMaster in an interview that, as a matter of fact, she defended Carolina in Madrid, right before Grant. That’s why Carolina ended up in Scotland. I’m happy I clarified the situation for Carolina and everyone watching, since it wasn’t depicted in the footage.

Leading up to the launch of Episode 5, I found myself standing up for someone who others wouldn’t, only to be left feeling played the following week. This is a sentiment that Carolina seems to share, given her response suggesting she has proof in the form of screenshots of our discussions as evidence. Remarkably, during an episode titled “The Women Tell All,” these social media exchanges were brought up to elicit responses from the women involved.

Following the exhibition of social media posts during the program, and as Dina accused Carolina of dodging responsibility, Carolina burst into tears and needed to leave the recording altogether to gather her thoughts privately.

Sarafiena Watkins, who was voted off in Episode 5, shared that everyone was willing to listen to Carolina during the reunion. However, she felt that same openness wasn’t returned. “It’s unfortunate because I don’t believe Carolina was open to listening again,” Sarafiena stated. “It’s a pity since the show is over, but we’ve moved past it all. Now, I can’t help but wonder, why can’t we just be friends?

For the ladies who were selected for the “hot seat,” revisiting their memories of falling in love with Grant, from their initial infatuation right up to their elimination under the watchful eyes of a large audience and the entire cast, was a deeply emotional experience. However, as is customary, the Bachelor himself eventually joined the scene.

Dina remarked humorously, ‘I honestly thought I had moved past it and was fully healed, everything seemed fine.’ But upon returning and encountering Grant, she exclaimed, ‘Oh my goodness!’ Suddenly, the old feelings resurfaced, weighing heavily on her heart, making her feel compelled to speak up.

Needless to say, this season’s “The Women Tell All” episode wouldn’t be whole without the reappearance of the beloved “drama-free” llama named Linda. During a heated moment in Alexe Godin’s hot seat segment, she was brought out, leaving Alexe completely taken aback. It might spark your memory that it was Alexe who introduced Linda to the show for the first time in Episode 1, winning her the coveted first impression rose.

Unlike past “Women Tell All” events, none of these contestants are vying to become the next Bachelorette; ABC and Warner Bros. Television have announced that there won’t be a new season of “The Bachelorette” debuting this spring. Instead, fans can anticipate “Bachelor in Paradise” coming this summer, which hasn’t been on since its fall 2023 airing during the dual strikes. Additionally, the eagerly awaited “Bachelor” finale, where viewers will find out who wins Grant’s final rose, is scheduled for March 24.
