As an ardent gamer and pancake enthusiast who grew up with the thrilling adventures of Indiana Jones, I must say this collaboration between Microsoft and IHOP has left me utterly intrigued! The idea of savoring an “Explorer’s Caramel Apple Butter Hot Chocolate” while delving into a game of Indiana Jones on my Xbox is simply too tantalizing to resist.
Microsoft collaborated with IHOP for the unveiling of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, designing an Indiana Jones-inspired breakfast menu and a special Xbox theme featuring pancakes.
Starting from November 18th, I’ll be diving into a world of adventure as IHOP unveils an Indiana Jones-themed menu! The “Fully Loaded French Toast” and the “Explorer’s Caramel Apple Butter Hot Chocolate” sound like they could fuel my quest, while the “Long-Lost Cookie Butter Milkshake” promises to be a sweet reward. I must admit, I’m not entirely sure how these dishes tie into Indiana Jones or Xbox, but one thing’s for certain – these dishes look mouthwateringly delicious!
Participants in IHOP’s International Bank of Pancakes program can submit their restaurant bill to accumulate “PanCoins”, which they can later cash in for Xbox rewards such as game downloads, merchandise, accessories, or Game Pass subscriptions. Some of these incentives will be unveiled during a joint IHOP/Xbox livestream scheduled for November 18 on the Twitch and YouTube channels of Xbox.
Among the awards is a collection of limited-edition drinkware, reminiscent of ’80s nostalgia to match the ambiance of Indiana Jones. These glasses showcase artwork by artist Matt Taylor from Xbox, displaying images and motifs from Indiana Jones, Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
One prize available for pancake lovers is a personalized Xbox Series X themed around IHOP, featuring the restaurant’s distinctive colors and syrupy motifs.
On December 9th, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle debuts for Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms, and you can play it right away if you have Xbox Game Pass subscription. The PlayStation 5 version will be released in early 2025.
