Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Has Almost Enough Cut Scenes For Two Movies

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt and countless hours spent in the mystical world of Indiana Jones, I must say that the news about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has me absolutely thrilled! With four hours of cutscenes, it’s like getting an entire extra movie, and that’s just too tempting to resist.

Even though the Indiana Jones film series has concluded, the potential new game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, might still be a hit among fans due to its extensive content. As stated by MachineGames, this upcoming title is projected to feature approximately four hours of cut scenes, which is nearly equivalent to two full-length Indiana Jones movies.

During a chat on the MinnMax YouTube channel, Axel Torvenius, creative director at MachineGames, shared that The Great Circle features numerous cut scenes totalling approximately 3 hours and 45 to 40 minutes. He also mentioned that this game is the largest and longest project ever undertaken by MachineGames.

Torvenius mentioned that the narrative of The Great Circle, as presented in its current form, closely resembles the initial concept Todd Howard proposed to George Lucas back in 2009. Before Disney acquired Lucasfilm, three years later. Moreover, Torvenius confirmed that stealth missions in The Great Circle won’t feature instant fails, a flaw that was addressed only recently in another game tied to Lucasfilm, Star Wars Outlaws, via an updated patch.

Indiana Jones: The Magnificent Voyage releases for Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9th. Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 players will need to wait until Spring 2025 to get their hands on it. Yet, fans of all gaming platforms and computers can already partake in an Indiana Jones-themed dining experience at IHOP’s International Bank of Pancakes restaurants nationwide.
