Rebel Wolves Studio carries on the narrative of Vale Sangora, unveiling another chapter in its “hidden chronicles.” This newly revealed segment follows the path of Albertus Taurinus as he embarks from Italy, making his way towards the setting of The Blood of Dawnwalker’s events.
In the posts mentioned earlier and the note below, I’ve been playing the role of an Italian character who’s journeying through the Carpathian Mountains. Alongside my guide, we encounter the ominous “mountain folk” who seem to be behind a series of misfortunes, much like the vampire group hinted at in the initial trailer of the game.
Hailing from Turin, I was no stranger to the perils that towering mountains could pose. In my overconfidence, I believed I was well-equipped to traverse the Carpathians. Little did I know, this arrogance would be met with divine retribution. During our journey, we were relentlessly pursued by packs of wolves – as ravenous and sly as they come. Moreover, avalanches constantly threatened us, adding to our tribulations.
My companion, a sturdy fellow named Gheorghe, felt compelled to bestow gifts on the “mountain dwellers,” whom he believed were responsible for our hardships. At the time, I dismissed this as ancient folklore and superstition. Looking back now, I would have acted more thoughtfully.
Previously, a Polish company unveiled the covenant of vampires in a similar manner. Back then, we were formally introduced to their identities and histories. The number of installments in the Taurinus tale remains uncertain, but it’s expected that its ending will mark the narrator’s last journal entry within the title-bearing Vale.
