Gravitas Ventures has obtained distribution rights for “I’m Beginning To See the Light,” directed by Konstantin Khudyakov, in the U.S. and Canada from Hoody Films. The movie, featuring Jack Huston, Abbie Cornish, Brandon T. Jackson, Jamie Chung, Lucy Punch, and Mark Boone Junior, is scheduled for digital and cable video on-demand release in May.
Amidst a strikingly beautiful coastal landscape, the movie “I’m Beginning to See the Light” features Huston as Ezra, a jazz musician who finds refuge in a secluded lighthouse following an unforeseen family tragedy. As the new caretaker of the lighthouse, Ezra meets other lost individuals, each struggling with their own histories, as stated in a press release. Through music, recollections, and interpersonal relationships, Ezra discovers a fresh purpose in life.

After spending decades working as a filmmaker in Eastern Europe, Khudyakov is making his American feature debut with ‘I’m Beginning to See the Light’. Mark Bacci wrote the script, while Walter Afanasieff contributed the movie’s main jazz elements.
Maz Makhani acts as the cinematographer for the film titled “I’m Beginning to See the Light”. This production is overseen by Pavel Hoodyakov, while it is also executive produced by Vitaliy Orel, Alex Saveliev, Mark Bacci, and Elwes.
