Picture yourself playing your preferred role-playing game and going along with your usual routine, when all of a sudden, you find yourself being hassled by an NPC to lick their boot – a request that’s not only inconvenient but also comes from an entity you can’t eliminate. What a pickle!

In addition to eliminating him, the player has the option to verbally harass Varre from Elden Ring, a feature console gamers are deeply grateful for Bethesda for implementing. Some may find Varre particularly annoying due to his immediate labeling of you as maidenless upon entering The Lands Between. Fortunately, unlike some games that require additional mods or shouting mechanics, you can dispose of him right from the game’s start.
