Search for Squarepants is the newest Spongebob movie, and Ice Spice will not just appear as a character in the flick, but will also contribute a complete song specifically for the film.
Ever since its initial release in 2004, SpongeBob SquarePants has consistently appeared in cinemas as one of the most beloved children’s animated series. It’s no wonder that Nickelodeon considers it their premier program.
Similarly, numerous celebrities have made appearances in this production. Some lent their voices to characters within the film, while others, like David Hasselhoff, took on significant roles, as demonstrated by his iconic part in the original Spongebob movie.
Surprisingly enough, I found myself quite taken aback by the appearance of Ice Spice in “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.” It’s not an association I would’ve expected!

Ice Spice boasts an impressive global following in the realm of hip-hop music, with her songs being played billions of times on Spotify alone.
Surprisingly, although a significant part of her musical persona revolves around themes not entirely suitable for kids, she’s been selected to take on a significant role in the production of SpongeBob: The Quest for SquarePants.
Among Ice Spice’s well-known tracks is one called “Bikini Bottom,” and while the verses might need adjustments to fit a children’s movie, she has already demonstrated her ability to transform a SpongeBob SquarePants-like rhythm into a tune that stands strong independently.
Regarding her part in the movie, it’s quite unpredictable. She might portray an animated figure, or perhaps she could appear as herself. There’s even a chance for a full-fledged musical performance! The possibilities are endless, aren’t they?
Beyond these characters, most of those listed thus far can be considered side players or original cast members re-emerging in their roles. Notably, Mark Hamill will once again take on the character of the Flying Dutchman. Additionally, Regina Hall and George Lopez have been confirmed for the film; however, their specific roles within the storyline are currently undefined.
This may not even be the most bizarre role she’s ever had considering she’s got a skin in Fortnite.
