Life can sometimes feel like a feel-good movie, and that recently happened to Candace Cameron Bure. Her daughter recently got married, and the event was incredibly heartwarming. As the mother of the bride, Bure was especially honored with a particularly sweet gesture during the celebration.
Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, Natasha Bure, recently married Bradley Steven Perry – known from Disney Channel’s *Good Luck Charlie*. The wedding took place in Malibu, California, with around 150 guests. Candace played a special role in the wedding, contributing to the traditional “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” custom. Natasha shared details about her mom’s contribution with People magazine.
My mom is a cherished part of my wedding, representing my ‘something blue.’ She’s incredibly important to me, and it felt perfect to honor her in that special way.
Traditionally, brides often carry or wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue on their wedding day – usually a piece of jewelry, clothing, or an accessory. In this case, Natasha asked Candace to wear a blue dress to fulfill the “something blue” tradition.
She actually did the same thing at her first bridal appointment, which made the moment even sweeter! While meeting with Kinsley Couture Bridal, the bride asked her mom if she would be her ‘something blue.’ Natasha described it as a ‘special day’.
That first wedding dress shopping trip was extra special. I asked my mom if she’d be my ‘something blue’ and my sister-in-law to be a bridesmaid – it felt like the perfect way to start planning the wedding!
Natasha and Perry recently got married after getting engaged in April. For a personal touch, Natasha asked her dad, Valeri Bure – who’s been married to *Full House* star Candace Cameron Bure for almost 30 years – to walk her down the aisle. They walked to the song “Mia & Sebastian’s Theme” from the movie *La La Land*.
The bride warmly shared how much it meant to her that her parents were involved in the wedding, saying:
Just thinking about my parents fills me with emotion – I feel incredibly fortunate to have them. I honestly couldn’t ask for better people to share life with.
The beloved holiday movie star shared in the excitement when she announced the news. This isn’t unexpected, as she previously described her son Lev’s wedding as a major life highlight back in 2024.
With the newlyweds celebrating and still thinking about how they included Candace Cameron Bure in their wedding, let’s move on to what the actress is up to now.
With summer ending, the season for Christmas movies is almost here, and that’s when Candace Cameron Bure really excels! She’s experienced with making holiday films, and we’re quickly approaching the time of year when they start appearing. This year, be sure to watch out for *Home Sweet Christmas Wedding*, and *Timeless Tidings of Joy*, which also stars Natasha!
We’ll continue to enjoy following this lovely mother and daughter throughout the year! For now, let’s appreciate this cute and sweet moment they shared.
