Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is the second installment in the Hyrule Warriors franchise, set amidst the Imprisoning War. The name itself foreshadows Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, providing crucial background story for the main series.

In their battle against Gandorf’s troops, King Rauru, Mineru, and the six revered Sages manage to imprison him instead.
King Rauru, Mineru, and the six ancient Sages engage in a fierce struggle with Gandorf’s armies. In the end, they succeed in trapping him.
Both sentences convey the same meaning while using different wordings for readability and variety.
Is there a release date?
As of now, Nintendo hasn’t announced a specific release date, but they have confirmed that the new game will be available on the Switch 2 this winter.

The game titled “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment” is being crafted by the skilled hands at Koei Tecmo Games, in collaboration with Nintendo.
