As a long-time fan who’s spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant world of Hyperdimension Neptunia, the news that Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart is coming to Nintendo Switch has sent me into a frenzy! Having played this game back on my trusty PlayStation Vita, I’m beyond thrilled to revisit the tactical RPG battles and charming characters with improved visuals and portability.
Compile Heart has revealed that they are planning to release the game Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart for the Nintendo Switch. The version of this turn-based strategy RPG is set to debut first in Japan on February 13, 2025.
The studio mentioned that the Switch version of the game is adapted directly from its initial PlayStation Vita release, debuted in Japan in May 2014, followed by a western rollout in early 2015. This adaptation will encompass all additional content previously released as downloadable content for the Vita version within the game itself. This includes new party members such as IF, Compa, Sting, and Tiara.

It’s worth noting that the game has been accessible on PC via Steam since 2016. However, the Japanese market does not offer the PC version for purchase (neither in Japan nor South Korea). Although the Steam release provides a Japanese voiceover option, its subtitles are only available in English.
