Hulu Picks Up ABC News Studios Murder Docuseries ‘Little Miss Innocent: Passion. Poison. Prison.’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a seasoned movie critic who has seen my fair share of true crime documentaries, I must admit that the upcoming Hulu docuseries “Little Miss Innocent: Passion. Poison. Prison.” piques my interest. The intriguing premise, coupled with ABC News Studios’ reputation for compelling storytelling, makes for an enticing watch.

Kaitlyn Conley, a woman currently serving time for murder, claims her innocence in a recent Hulu docuseries titled “Little Miss Innocent: Passion. Poison. Prison.” The three-part series follows Conley’s account of why she believes she was unfairly imprisoned for the 2015 death of her former employer and ex-boyfriend’s mother.

On Friday, September 20, ABC News Studios will debut a new series on Hulu. This series features an exclusive first interview with Conley that was conducted after her sentencing.

Born and raised in Sauquoit, New York, Conley initially came across as a “well-mannered young lady” within the community, as portrayed in the documentary series. However, this image changed when she was implicated in the death of Mary Yoder, who happened to be the mother of her former boyfriend Adam.

For the very first time, Conley expresses her views to the doctor, stating her innocence and elaborating on a tumultuous relationship she had with Adam. Additionally, she shares her hypotheses regarding who murdered Yoder and the possible motives behind it.

Based on its synopsis, this documentary series includes previously unavailable police interviews, unique recordings of the victim on the day she was poisoned, and an unprecedented audio interview with her husband, Bill Yoder. With exceptional access to friends, family members, investigators, local media, and town residents, this is the first time in seven years that the Yoder family has spoken openly, and since their daughter’s conviction, it marks the first occasion where Kaitlyn’s parents have expressed their thoughts publicly.

The series titled ‘Little Miss Innocent’ hails from Plum Pictures and ABC News Studios. Stuart Cabb serves as the executive producer for Plum Pictures, while Sara Mast takes on the director role. On the other hand, David Sloan holds the senior executive producer position at ABC News Studios, with Beth Hoppe serving in the same capacity.

Under the guidance of Mike Kelley, who serves as senior VP for streaming/digital content, ABC News Studios has spearheaded various projects such as documentaries like “Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields,” “Brats,” “Sound of the Police,” “The Lady Bird Diaries” and “Aftershock.” Additionally, they have produced docuseries including “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” “Betrayal: A Father’s Secret,” “Killing County,” “Wild Crime,” “Mormon No More,” “The Randall Scandal: Love, Loathing, and Vanderpump” and “Jelly Roll: Save Me.
