Hugh Jackman Furious Over Missing ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Dance Scene

During his performance at Radio City Music Hall, New York, where he’s currently showcasing his stage show titled “From New York, With Love”, Jackman publicly addressed his co-star and close friend, [Name]. Despite their friendly relationship, Jackman expressed one significant concern about being excluded from a specific scene in Marvel’s 2024 blockbuster movie. This issue didn’t arise due to any bad feelings between the friends, but rather because of his desire to be involved in that particular scene.

Seven years after thinking he had played Wolverine for the final time in the 2017 film “Logan”, Jackman resumed his role once more. The movie achieved its goal by offering an unabashed, brutally violent, fan-pleasing spectacle that exploded onto screens and refused to fade – much like its two main characters.

Despite Jackman being present in most of the film’s scenes, there was one exception – a dance sequence where he didn’t participate. This omission bothered him so much that he decided to address it during his performance, as reported by the Daily Mail. In his show, Jackman stated:

I want to keep my involvement in the movie a secret from Ryan. However, he is the writer for the film. When I looked at the script, I noticed that the scene I’m not included in is the opening sequence, which features a dance number set to an NSYNC song written by Ryan. This makes me question his dancing abilities since he’s quite talented as a writer.

Later, Jackman brought on board trainer and ex-dancer Beth Lewis to reenact “the dance he missed out on”, and unexpectedly burst into a rendition of NSYNC’s famous song “Bye Bye Bye“, hinting that maybe the movie could have benefited from a duo performance.

Will Hugh Jackman Return as Wolverine?

The departure of Deadpool and Wolverine from Jackman’s Wolverine narrative left things intriguingly unresolved. Although Logan remains deceased, the fresh portrayal of Wolverine introduced within Deadpool’s realm is very much vigorous. Nevertheless, Deadpool is not officially integrated into the MCU at this point, leaving some uncertainty as to whether either character might make an appearance in the upcoming Avengers films that are set to conclude the Multiverse Storyline.

In the cast announcement video for Avengers: Doomsday, neither Reynolds nor Jackman’s names were mentioned among those set to appear. However, Marvel chief Kevin Feige has hinted that the video may not have revealed all the actors involved in the movie. It’s widely believed that Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine soon, given his commitment to continue playing the character until he turns 90.

Currently, enthusiasts can reexperience all of Jackman’s past portrayals of Wolverine on Disney+, where the X-Men films are accessible along with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Wolverine, and Deadpool & Wolverine. What more Wolverine action could you ask for at this price?
