The recent livestream for Honkai: Star Rail 4.0 revealed a surprising collaboration with Fortnite, along with a bunch of new content and free rewards. Here’s a recap of everything announced during the stream.

Image via HoYoverse HSR 4.0 will take Trailblazers to Planarcadia. These areas will be available inside the planet:
- Duomension City
- Graphia Academy
- Dovebrook District
- “World’s End” Tavern
With this new release, you can look forward to a fresh story, beginning with “No Aha At Fullmoon”.
New Enemy & Materials
Image via HoYoverse Planarcadia will gain new enemies, with @SparxiConOfficial expected to be the biggest threat. This enemy has a special combat style based on livestreaming and completing challenges. Expect a flashy battle, similar to the Aventurine boss fight in Honkai: Star Rail.
As a Planarcadia fan, I’m so excited about the new Elation characters! And it’s not just the characters – they’ve also added a bunch of new materials. We’re getting Elation materials, plus some cool new stuff called The Hunt Trace and Lightning Ascension materials. It’s going to be awesome to collect them all!
New Relics
Image via HoYoverse Okay, so I just heard that two new Relics are coming to Planarcadia: Ever-Glorious Magical Girl and Diviner of Distant Reach. And apparently, everyone thinks Diviner of Distant Reach is going to be super important for building Yao Guang. I’m already planning how to get it!

Yao Guang and Sparxie are launching the Elation Path in Honkai: Star Rail, and version 2.3 will feature six character banners returning from previous updates. Along with their featured Light Cones, players can also obtain four additional Elation weapons: Sneering (3-star), Lingering Tear (3-star), Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures (4-star, available through the Priceless Jewels shop and other methods), and Today’s Good Luck (4-star, obtainable via the Battle Pass).
In version 4.0, both Sparkle and Black Swan will receive improvements. Sparkle will recover Skill Points faster, have longer-lasting skills, and gain more energy. Black Swan will be able to go beyond her normal Arcana limit and build up Arcana stacks more easily. Plus, she’ll be able to increase the team’s damage while also weakening enemies.

Events & Content Update
Image via HoYoverse The livestream didn’t reveal many details, but we know the Cosmicon, Roll On! event is coming, and it will focus on the new card game. The Ding! Arcadia Fun-Time Clock-In Essentials event will also be happening.
Both the Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange events will return in a future update for Honkai: Star Rail, so watch for announcements about when they’ll be available to earn extra rewards.
Two games, Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game and Divergent Universe: Protean Hero, will receive new content updates.
