How to use amiibo in Pragmata on Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom’s new game, Pragmata, is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version has special support for amiibo figures, including a new Diana amiibo launching this week. We’ve created a guide to help you understand how to use amiibo in Pragmata, when you can start scanning them, and everything else you need to know.

When do you unlock amiibo support in Pragmata?

You can start scanning amiibo figures in Pragmata shortly after the game begins, once you finish the initial tutorial and arrive at the shelter – it only takes a few minutes of playing and watching cutscenes to unlock this feature.

How to use amiibo in Pragmata

Once you’ve enabled amiibo support, you can scan amiibo in Pragmata after leaving the Shelter. Simply open the System menu and select “Scan amiibo (receive items)” to get rewards.



Pragmata amiibo rewards

Using the Diana amiibo in Pragmata will give you in-game weapons and items to help you recover. Each time you use it, you can get up to three different items.

Which amiibo work in Pragmata on Nintendo Switch 2?

Currently, the only amiibo confirmed to function with Pragmata is the Diana amiibo. I tested amiibo from the Bayonetta, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Zelda, and Mario series, and none of them worked.
