In this latest Palworld update v0.5.0, a host of new elements have been incorporated into the game. Notably, you can now utilize all the extra schematic copies you’ve gathered in-game. Here, we’ll guide you on how to leverage those old Palworld schematics for enhancing rarities to achieve better results.
Palworld’s schematic upgrades explained
In Palworld, blueprints (or schematics) aid in creating superior weapons and equipment; however, it’s challenging to acquire the exceptionally useful top-tier blueprints since they’re quite scarce, as their rarity implies.
Instead, it’s likely that you’ve accumulated numerous basic design blueprints for your game which seem unnecessary. However, with the recent update, you can now utilize these excess replicas to create items of higher rarity.
To upgrade to better schematics, you’ll first need to craft the game’s new Drafting Table item.
How to unlock and build the new Drafting Table item
As a seasoned gamer, I’ve just stumbled upon an exciting new addition to our game world – the Drafting Table! This intriguing piece of equipment becomes accessible at level 45, but it doesn’t come free. To claim it, you’ll need to part ways with four Ancient Technology points from your stockpile.
In a similar manner to other crafting materials, you can utilize them at your base by opening the construction menu, specifically focusing on the ‘Production’ section.
To build, you’ll need the following materials:
- 20 Refined Ingots
- 100 Wood
- 30 Charcoal
How to upgrade schematics with the Drafting Table
After setting up your Drafting Table, feel free to pick up a few of the discarded preliminary designs you’ve accumulated.
On a Drafting Table, you create blueprints for exceptional items, categorized as Rare, Epic, and Legendary. To produce one of these higher-tier schematics, you’ll need five schematics of lower rarity from the same category.
To level up a Rare blueprint, you need five Uncommon blueprints of the same item. For an Epic blueprint, you require five Rare blueprints, and for a Legendary one, you need five Epic blueprints. It is crucial to remember that you should always have five identical blueprints to craft the enhanced version of the corresponding blueprint type. You cannot combine different types of blueprints in this process.
