As a seasoned traveler and culinary enthusiast with a knack for socializing, I must say that living in Stardew Valley has been an absolute delight! The diverse cast of characters here never fails to impress me with their unique personalities and skills.
Once you finish either one of the two primary narratives in Stardew Valley, you’ll gain access to the Movie Theater. The method for unlocking it varies based on the storyline you choose, but its fundamental purpose remains constant. By inviting a villager to join you at the movies, you can strengthen your relationship with them, providing they enjoy the movie you select.
How to unlock the Stardew Valley Movie Theater
You can enjoy the Movie Theater the following day if it’s been raining or storming, or you’ve completed all Community Center bundles, or alternatively, you’ve purchased all available upgrades from Joja Mart.
Completing the community center packages will lead to the Joja Mart in town being left vacant. However, following a stormy evening, it reopens. Venture inside and you’ll discover the Missing Bundle.
To complete the missing bundle, you need five of the six following items:
- Wine of Silver of better quality
- Dinosaur Mayonnaise
- Prismatic Shard
- 5 Gold Quality Ancient Fruit
- Gold or Iridium Quality Void Salmon
- Caviar
Should you opt for the Joja Market route, your Community Center will transform into a Joja Warehouse. To change this Warehouse into a Movie Theater, you’ll need to pay 500,000 Gold.
How to use the Movie Theater
As a movie enthusiast, all I need to do is buy two tickets, each priced at 1,000G, from the local theater. To bring along a fellow villager, I’ll need to hand them one of these tickets just as you would give a gift. Once we both have our tickets, we’re off to the cinema to enjoy the show. It’s essential that we watch the movie on the very same day we hand out the ticket, or else it’s like the gift has gone to waste.
In total, there are eight films. Every season, a different set of two films is shown over the course of two years. Watching a film that someone adores earns you 200 friendship points, while a liked film nets you 100 friendship points. On the other hand, neither neutral nor disliked movies affect your friendship points.
