Quartermaster Suppressor
The latest Quartermaster Suppressor accessory is a big-caliber suppressor that helps keep you hidden from enemy radar, offering additional perks to lessen your weapon’s recoil. Specifically, it decreases your gun’s recoil by 10%, reduces horizontal recoil by 23%, and takes care of 10% of vertical recoil. This makes it a more attractive choice than the widely used Casus Brake muzzle add-on.
How to unlock the Quartermaster Suppressor
In order to use the latest attachment for the first time, you must enable its Armory Unlock and finish eight daily missions. Different from previous season’s gear and add-ons, the Season 5 attachments will not be displayed in your in-game inventory.
- Go into your custom loadouts in either MW3 or Warzone
- Select any weapon to modify in the Gunsmith
- Select the muzzle for customization and scroll all the way to the end of the list. (Locked attachments are always at the end of the list.)
- Click on the Quartermaster Suppressor to activate the armory unlock challenge

Instead, you’ll need to put on your detective hat and follow a few simple steps to locate and activate its challenge. Trust me, I’ve been there before – scouring menus, checking online guides, and double-checking settings – only to finally discover that the Paracord Grip was hiding in plain sight all along. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t see it right away, just keep following the instructions and you’ll be on your way to mastering this useful attachment.
