The initial Treasure Dungeon introduced in the Dawntrail expansion of Final Fantasy XIV is called Cenote Ja Ja Gural Treasure Dungeon. Similar to previous treasure dungeons, it can be accessed once you have the appropriate treasure map in hand.
For the Cenote Ja Ja Gural dungeon, you’ll be searching for antique Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps. You can find these maps in various open-world locations of Dawntrail like Shaaloani (as shown below), using your chosen gathering class. To maximize your chances of finding and efficiently collecting them, it is ideal to have a gatherer who is at level 100 with gear that matches or nearly matches their level.
Just like other treasure maps, you can collect these once every 18 hours (real time), and you can only possess one of each type at a given moment in your inventory. To ensure you have access to numerous maps, utilize the space in your Chocobo Saddlebag and Retainers (unless you’re on a different server/data center).
At your convenience, you’re welcome to buy various treasure maps from your nearby Marketplace. However, keep in mind that their prices frequently change, and they may become quite costly when a new treasure cave is introduced.
As an enthusiast, I’d suggest using the “Party Finder” to gather a team of ideally eight companions, enabling us to explore various maps simultaneously. Employing the “Decipher” skill will help us determine our map’s general area in the vast open world.
