After all these years of being a dedicated gamer and a follower of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, I must say that GSC Game World hasn’t exactly revolutionized their approach with Stalker 2. Much like its predecessors, it’s not a technological marvel and might even vie for the title of the most bugged game of the year! But hey, who needs perfection when we can have a good old-fashioned struggle with audio bugs and losing the ability to run?
After numerous years, there haven’t been significant changes at GSC Game World. Like its predecessors in the series, Stalker 2 doesn’t stand out as a technological marvel and is often vying for the title of the most glitch-ridden game of the year. Players encounter various difficulties such as losing their ability to run or experiencing audio glitches. One way to bypass some of these issues is by using noclip. Now, let me explain how you can activate this feature.
How to Turn On Noclip in Stalker 2
In the realm of Stalker 2, I’ve discovered that there’s a unique feature hidden within – it’s about unlocking console commands. This tool lets you tinker with the game rules or simplify gameplay, depending on your preference. Unlike some games where it comes built-in, in this title, you’ll need to download and install a special mod called UETools to access these hidden gems.
When you install this mod, you can finally unlock the noclip. So, how to do this?
- Start Stalker 2 and load the save.
- Press Tilde or F10 to open console command.
- In newly opened tab, you must write UETools_Ghost. This command will turn off the collision with the objects. You can also use UETools_Fly. It allows your character to fly.
Noclip is perfect option, when you get stuck (with the current technical state, may not be an unusual case) or you just want to look at places you don’t normally get access to.
To deactivate noclip, you’ll need to access the command console once more and type in “UETools_Walk”. But keep in mind that it remains a modification, so some features might not function perfectly as expected.
