In Monster Hunter Wilds, bleeding is undeniably one of the most detrimental status effects you may encounter, and dealing with it can turn into quite an ordeal.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s important to note that certain debuffs can be instigated quite effortlessly by specific monsters or the environment. However, don’t worry! There are multiple strategies to ward off this debuff, and this guide is designed to help you avoid the ‘bleeding’ status and survive more effectively in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How to cure bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds
In any camp, you’ll find a Provisions Vendor stocking items that could prove very beneficial. One such item is the Wild Jerky, which can instantly stop bleeding when activated. This snack costs 98z and it’s wise to always have some on hand. It’s important to note that bleeding can also occur due to environmental factors, and trust me, it’s not a pleasant way to meet your end.
Keep in mind that eating Wild Jerky will slow down your movement speed. This might be crucial during a fight, so consider summoning your Seikret prior to consumption to avoid being slowed and potentially making yourself an easier target.
An alternative method for stopping bleeding involves consuming Provisions, which you can find at the Ingredient Center on the Support Desk NPC. Not only does it heal the affliction, but it also replenishes a small amount of Stamina, serving dual purposes.
Thirdly, instead of waiting for a few moments to halt the bleeding when injured from the surroundings, it may not be wise to adopt this approach during a fight. The risk is high that the beast could eliminate you before you manage to get rid of the bleeding affliction.
How to prevent bleeding in Monster Hunter Wilds
Instead of trying to heal bleeding after it occurs, it’s better to stop it from happening at all. To achieve this, you can use either the “Bleed Charm Talisman” crafted by Smithy or Gemma. This talisman can be upgraded, enhancing its Bleeding Resistance property.
Having a high Bleeding Resistance stat is certainly advantageous, but it’s wise to carry some Wild Jerkies and Rations just in case. Also, don’t forget to glance at our weapon tier list to handle various monsters efficiently. Furthermore, you can strategically place traps for extra damage or mount them to attack from above.
