In “Dune: Awakening,” an MMO set in the renowned science fiction universe, survival is key as you navigate the harsh, open world of Arrakis, known for its challenging surface conditions. To help you survive, consider acquiring a knife which can be obtained by redeeming a code. But don’t forget about other forms of protection! The environment demands that players equip headgear to shield themselves from the intense sun and sand. For those seeking a more fashionable look, helmets can be concealed. Our guide will delve into both options for you.
How to redeem codes in Dune Awakening
Utilizing diverse codes can swiftly grant you intriguing benefits essential for survival on Arrakis. However, locating these opportunities might not be as straightforward as it appears, as they are not readily available within the game itself.
You can redeem codes in two ways:
- Go to this official site of the game, log in through your Steam account and paste the code there,
- Launch the game via Steam. When the Funcom Launcher appears, click on the Account option, log into your Steam account, select the Redeem Key tab and paste the code you received there.
Currently, there’s just one active code that dispenses rewards: WAKE-THE-SLEEPER. It appears that some server problems might be preventing the rewards from being delivered correctly.
How to hide your helmet in Dune Awakening
Not everyone might find the idea of a permanently noticeable helmet appealing, as it is essential gear, yet many within the community prioritize enhancing the aesthetics of their character’s looks over a significant period.
Luckily for me as a gamer, the creators of Dune: Awakening have thoughtfully included an option that caters to players like me. To access it, I simply need to navigate to the game settings, then scroll down until I spot the Show Helmet toggle. Turning it off allows me to immerse myself in the game without my character’s headgear obstructing the view of their face.
Instead of turning off the helmet option entirely within the settings, you could navigate to your inventory, press the “D” key, and then uncheck the box next to the helmet.
