How to rank Warframes to Level 30 fast

As a seasoned gamer with over a decade of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Warframe has quickly become one of my favorite games due to its depth and variety. The equipment rank system is just another testament to Digital Extremes’ commitment to creating an engaging and rewarding gameplay experience.

In simpler terms, Warframe is an expansive game offering multiple paths for advancing and climbing ranks. A crucial aspect is the ranking of your equipment, and here’s a comprehensive guide on how it functions and tips for rapid leveling up.

To advance your gear, it’s crucial to accumulate Affinity by donning a particular Warframe or wielding a specific weapon. You can earn Affinity in various ways, such as defeating enemies, completing missions, activating abilities, and gathering Affinity Orbs. Each Warframe independently levels up based on the Affinity you gather.

Because of its wide range, you’ll likely see good advancement in the game based on your preferred playstyle. However, it’s worth noting that there are other methods and activities that could help you progress faster, so consider exploring those to make the best use of your time.

How to level your Warframe overview

As a dedicated Warframe player, I’ve noticed that certain activities yield significantly higher Affinity returns compared to others. Here’s what I suggest for an optimal farming experience:

  1. Defense Missions
  2. Sanctuary Onslaught Missions (ideally Elite)
  3. Spy Missions
  4. Steel Path

Run Defense Missions

In Warframe, Defensive Missions serve as the primary method for building Affinity – this is essentially their main role. These missions involve a group of players defending an important target against progressively harder enemy attacks.

After every set of five waves, players get an opportunity to exit and claim a reward, or choose to carry on for another five waves. However, if they can’t make it to the next checkpoint, any accumulated rewards are lost, leaving them empty-handed as they depart.

A notable perk in this setup is the abundance of adversaries it provides. By achieving ability takedowns, Warframes receive a full 100% of the Affinity, and an additional 50% for any weapon kills they make as well. This multiplies rapidly, so expect your Warframe rank to climb swiftly.

The best nodes to look out for are Hydron on Sedna and Helene on Saturn, with the latter also offering a great source of ever-useful Orokin cells. Both offer Grineer enemies, who reward the highest amount of Affinity of any faction.

Complete (Elite) Sanctuary Onslaught Missions

As a gamer, I’d say: In the gaming world, Sanctuary Onslaught Missions are like a twist on Survival Missions. It’s essentially a modified Horde Mode where you have to endure wave after wave of progressively tougher opponents. The goal is simply to keep surviving as long as possible!

Primarily, these missions offer an effective method for upgrading weapons, and simultaneously, they provide a passive means of leveling up. Additionally, there’s an elite version of the activity, but you’ll require Mastery Rank 30 or a Warframe at that same rank to participate with an underdeveloped, polarized Warframe in order to accrue additional Affinity.

Complete Spy Missions

Instead of the activities we’ve discussed earlier, Spy Missions could provide an engaging and fitting option for those who prefer covert operations. In these tasks, players are challenged to secretly acquire sensitive information from adversarial systems using the game’s built-in hacking feature.

These Data Vaults stand out due to their consistent reward system: They grant 1000-4000 Affinity each time a player successfully hacks them. Notably, you’ll encounter adversaries you can engage if you so choose, and there are numerous opportunities for XP gain here as well.

The key strategy lies in landing sneak attacks (stealth kills) to boost your multiplier during intervals between Data Vaults. This tactic is especially beneficial for single players, as well as those who favor less intense combat and those who employ Warframes tailored for stealth missions, such as Octavia or Loki.

Confront the Steel Path

As a seasoned player, the Steel Path Incursions serve as an extra challenge for me, ramping up the difficulty to keep gameplay engaging. If I’m further along in my journey and need to level another Warframe quickly, tackling the Steel Path versions of missions (with the exception of Sanctuary Onslaught, where it isn’t available) will undoubtedly be the swiftest and most effective approach.

Apart from doubling the chances for Resource and Mod drops, it also rewards a substantial amount of Affinity when defeating tougher foes. To access the Steel Path, you must progress through every node on the Star Chart, excluding the Mutalist Alad V Assassination, Railjack, and Golem missions.

That’s all there is to know about leveling up your Warframe quickly and efficiently. Before you start grinding with the methods above, we recommend completing all of the story missions and additional nodes so you’ll be in a much stronger position to farm.
