Borderlands is widely considered the most famous “looter shooter” game, and the newest installment, Borderlands 4, has just been released. It’s packed with enemies and tons of loot to collect. While some bosses are easy to find – like Sidney Pointy Legs – others are well-hidden. One particularly tricky location is the Tipping Point Order Bunker. If you’re stuck there or having trouble getting in, we’ve got some helpful tips to guide you.
How to open Tipping Point Bunker in Borderlands 4
- To open Tipping Point Bunker in Borderlands 4, you need to complete one of the main quests – One Fell Swoop.
The Tipping Point Bunker is located in the southeastern area of the map, within the Idolator’s Noose region. To get inside, you’ll need to find a secret entrance to the side of the main bunker door. Keep an eye out for a large, circular ventilation system. The fan blades are broken, allowing you to walk right through it.

Stand on the platform in front of the red fan. Then, jump up to the room close to the ceiling. You’ll see a machine inside that looks like the one pictured below.

Grab the container from the machine, then jump into the hole. Quickly run to the bunker door and throw the flask at it. The flask will break through the door’s defenses, allowing you to enter.
How to progress through Tipping Point Bunker in Borderlands 4
- After entering the bunker, turn left, and next right.
- Watch out for enemies in the room with golden balls.
- Go through the door with yellow triangles above it.
- There is a console in the middle of the next big room. You need a canister to activate it. It is in the corner, behind the production line (after entering the room, it will be on your left side). Now, press the button on the console to open the door.
- In the next room, you need to repeat the process. The canister is on the production line and the console is in the room above the hall.
- Now, go to the newly opened area across the room (from the console). Climb on the elevator and the walls to reach the room above.
- Finally, resupply in the vending machines and slide down to the boss fight. Good luck.
