To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Spotify is launching a feature that lets users revisit and explore their past listening habits.

I’m so excited! Spotify just launched this cool new feature called “Spotify 20,” and it’s all about celebrating your listening history. It’s only on the mobile app, but it shows you personalized stats and milestones – basically, a look back at all the music you’ve enjoyed on Spotify over the years. It’s like a party for your ears!

This new feature reveals some of your Spotify history you’ve never seen before, like when you first joined, the very first song you played, how many different songs you’ve listened to, and your most-played artist of all time.

This experience is offered in 144 countries and supports 16 different languages. You can find it on the Spotify website, or by searching for “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” within the Spotify app.

In addition to its yearly stats, Spotify is now offering users a special playlist called “All-Time Top Songs” featuring their 120 most-played songs, with the number of plays shown right in the playlist.

After finishing each part of the game, I get these cool share cards. It’s super easy to brag about my high scores or send them to my friends – I can just post them straight to social media. It’s a fun way to connect with other players!

To mark the anniversary, Spotify created a series of curated playlists that showcase popular music, key cultural events, and trends from the last twenty years.

This new feature builds on the success of popular Spotify recaps like Spotify Wrapped, which has grown into a major yearly event where users share what they’ve been listening to on social media.
