Keep your ears open and explore well, because those elusive bells can be found hidden in these spots:
- Located behind Guanghzi’s after defeating him in the Forest of Wolves
- Near the area where you fought Guangmou after defeating the boss in Bamboo Grove
- Located to the left of where you fight the Whiteclad Noble (When you head down the steps to fight Whiteclad, there is a section to the left that heads to the third bell
After you’ve rung every bell, you’ll find yourself instantly transported to the Hidden Zone. Once within this zone, be sure to stop by the Shrine and take a break. Then, don’t forget to explore the Secret Temple Shrine store where you can buy some Silk. At present, there’s a limited supply for your convenience.
Defeating the Secret Temple’s boss, Elder Jinchi, will grant you additional Silk. Unlike the Wandering Wight, this boss has distinct characteristics of its own. For instance, you can recover your HP by defeating his minions scattered throughout the arena. However, be cautious as Jinchi may employ his minions to regenerate his health mid-battle.
In Chapter 1 of Black Myth Wukong, there are just two methods for acquiring Silk. If you wish to amass more, you’ll have to venture into Chapter 2.
In Chapter 2, a diverse assortment of adversaries emerges, among them are various types of Rats eager to hand over Silk. If you’re after Silk, an effective strategy for farming Silk in Black Myth Wukong is to rest at a Shrine near the Rats, engage them in combat, rest again, and repeat this process. Over time, Rats will provide a substantial amount of Silk, so employ this tactic when you’re in dire need of earning some. Luckily, Black Myth allows for instant travel to any location within the game that you’ve previously visited.
In the end, the player receives Silk (Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw) as a reward from another boss. You may recall engaging his less powerful version in Chapter 1, but this one presents a greater challenge. He’s equipped with more extended electrical attacks to maintain distance between you. Be sure not to let him rest and make full use of your abilities. A Shrine is nearby where the battle takes place.
By overcoming this boss, you’ll receive a valuable item that can be handed to the Rat situated outside Guhh-Baw’s battleground. Giving him his misplaced item will provide you with additional crafting capabilities at Shrines. And as a bonus, Guhh-Baw grants you Silk upon your victory over him.
Some players report that Chests sometimes reward you with Silk, but we cannot confirm that information at this time. For now, just use the four methods listed above. Besides, hunting Rats is the easiest and most stress-free method.
