How to find the Attic key in Date Everything

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve found myself immersed in this seemingly outrageous dating sim titled “Date Everything.” At first glance, it may appear to be a game about romancing household items, but let me assure you, there’s more to it than meets the eye. There are hidden gems and potential love interests waiting to be discovered!

In total, there are 100 distinct characters to uncover within Date Everything, ranging from your floor level up to the very air around you. These intriguing individuals can be found scattered throughout your home (no need to step on any grass), but locating them will pose one of the primary challenges you’ll encounter, along with the natural process of falling in love or forming friendships. It might seem counterintuitive, but it’s surprisingly simple to develop feelings of dislike instead.

If you’ve been spending time in your kitchen, living room, office, and almost every corner of your home, you might be asking yourself, ‘Who are the missing pieces here?’ Well, curious friend, they’re hidden away in the attic. But to unlock that secret space, you’ll need a key first.

Date Everything attic key location

If you’ve stumbled upon a strange, unopenable door on the upper level, that’s likely the loft area – the Attic.

1. Find the Crawlspace

To proceed with this task, you should first locate the hidden silver key within the storage area, also known as the Crawlspace. This step is associated with Beau’s (the box character) questline. While speaking to her isn’t strictly necessary to kick off the mission, it can be beneficial as it will maintain her story arc smoothly.

Regardless, make your way to the office located on the lower level and search for the closed door near your workspace. Once you find it, open it, step inside, and remove your eyewear. Following that, locate the carpet on the floor and click on it. This action will cause it to lift up, exposing a hidden trap door.

2. Look for the Silver Key in the Crawlspace

Engage with it, descend if you will, and delight in the fresh items you can connect with. However, be mindful not to exhaust all your five powers before you spot a silver key nestled neatly between the right side of the ladder and a column. Slip your Dateviators back on and interact with that key instead.

You’ll meet Keith, who will tell you he’s a skeleton key and can open the attic.

3. Interact with the Attic door

Go ahead and put him in your pocket. Then, walk up to the door and engage with it. You’ll find yourself having quite an intriguing conversation with Dorian and Keith, who will eventually grant you access to the attic.

Upon entering, you’ll encounter numerous potential companions. We recommend initiating conversations with those who share a passion for board games, especially those familiar with Dimension 20, Critical Role, or simply tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons.
