How to find Sam in the Reckoning in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Towards the closing stages of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll encounter Sam or, if you prefer, Samuel in full – should he be so named – within a confined camp setting.

The primary objective is straightforward: locate a horse and make an exit from the camp. While players claim that it’s possible to flee without rescuing your half-brother, the most favorable outcome of the game requires his presence. Let’s briefly discuss strategies for finding him initially.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Sam location in Reckoning quest

Upon reaching Praguer’s Camp, Henry finds himself clueless about Sam’s whereabouts and unsure of his final destiny. However, if you haven’t reached this stage in the game yet, beware: he has been taken captive by Brabant. To begin with, your mission involves obtaining a uniform from one of the camp soldiers, which you can use to blend in.

In this mission, it would be wise to adopt a covert strategy whenever feasible. Here are two methods to obtain Prague attire:

1. The more challenging option involves killing a guard and taking their clothing.
2. However, an easier method is discovering chests at the specified location, where you’re likely to find a soldier’s outfit. Once you acquire these garments for your inventory, remember to wear them.

Make your way towards the camp’s left side. Upon arrival, you’ll spot two guards standing near an entryway. To their left, there’s a small entrance leading to a dormitory where the guards sleep. Pass through that and exit from the opposite side. Continue straight ahead until you reach a gate on your right. At this point, one part of the area will be sealed off while another will remain open.

Start straight ahead to locate the room where Samuel is. There’s no door, but you’ll see a ladder by the barn. Climb up there, then jump down to discover Samuel at this spot. Like many other players, I chose to temporarily abandon him and return later to rescue him. To achieve that, you’ll first have to handle Brabant, find Von Aulitz, and finally obtain a horse to make your escape.

Previously mentioned, you have an option to depart alone, abandoning Sam, thereby securing all the silver. But should you opt for leaving with Sam, it may bring peace to your conscience, despite potentially losing some resources along the way.
