In Monster Hunter Wilds, if you’re someone who prefers a more social gaming experience, there are several ways to engage with other players. Additionally, if you’d like to exhibit your equipment, statistics, and achievements, you can do so by customizing your Hunter Profile.
The Hunter Profile operates similarly to the Guild Cards seen in past Monster Hunter games. It serves as a platform for showcasing your in-game accomplishments, preferred gear, and various other items you can take pride in. If this concept appeals to you, here’s a brief explanation of how it functions.
How to Edit Your Hunter Profile in Monster Hunter Wilds
To view your Hunter Profile, simply navigate through the game’s main menu, find the Information tab which is located third from the left, represented by a question mark icon. Once selected, choose the Hunter Profile option, and you will be directed to the initial page of your unique profile.
1. Character details
2. Inventory management
3. Quest log
4. Skills and abilities
5. Settings and options
6. Any other relevant information about your progress in the game.
- Your currently equipped gear and stats
- Quest completion count and weapon usage breakdown
- Palico equipment and stats
- A list of all completed MH Wilds achievements
- Breakdown of all hunted/captured monsters
- Edit menu
All sections of your profile will be visible to other players except the Editing screen.
To modify any aspect of your profile display card, navigate to the ‘Edit’ section where you will find a variety of options at your disposal. Here, you are free to adjust your character’s pose, expression, and even customize the card’s background itself. Additionally, you can add widgets to showcase your accomplishments and other relevant statistics.
Your profile will reflect your equipped gear unless you use the Register Equipment option.
As a player immersed in this thrilling world, I’d like to share a handy tip: In the event you find yourself in a public lobby, you can effortlessly explore other players’ profiles by navigating to the Members List within the menu. Additionally, you can also peek at the profiles of your Hunter Friends, Followers, and even those you’ve recently hunted alongside, all from the same convenient menu!
In the latest version of MH Wilds, players won’t have the ability to exchange Guild Cards as they did in past games. However, since anyone can browse other players’ profiles anytime, establishing new friendships or examining others’ accomplishments within MH Wilds should still be straightforward. If you ever need to report a player for any reason, simply navigate to their Hunter Profile via the Member List and follow the appropriate steps to submit your report.
