In the thrilling world of the game I’m immersed in, I encounter an enigmatic entity known as the Blade Phantom. At the game’s outset, this spectral being mysteriously seizes control over Khazan, aiming to dominate his body and scatter his soul. However, as events unfold, I manage to assert my will over this spirit, compelling it to collaborate with me instead. Remarkably, the Blade Phantom is not a single entity but a conglomeration of ancient spirits, each endowed with unique abilities.
In the battle against the Blade Phantom, it frequently alternates among three distinct offensive maneuvers, each resembling various game weapons. How To Defeat the Blade Phantom?
In the initial stage of the boss battle, the moves of the Blade Phantom are quite predictable. Most of its attacks during this phase have clear signals, making it possible for you to either parry or dodge them. Interestingly, after every attack, there’s a brief gap where you can retaliate with counterattacks, taking advantage of the boss’s momentary vulnerability.
Initially, the Blade Phantom can be easily staggered when you’re near it and continue attacking. Additionally, successfully parrying its three-hit combo also causes the boss to stagger. However, maintaining an aggressive stance against this boss is easier said than achieved. This is because the Blade Phantom is incredibly nimble, often disappearing after most attacks to recharge its stamina.
The encounter with the boss proves remarkably challenging when wielding the Greatsword or Dual Wield, but it turns into an effortless victory if you opt for the Spear. Strategy To Easily Defeat the Blade Phantom
Here are some tips to easily defeat the Blade Phantom in The First Berserker Khazan:
- Make sure you equip the Spear with the highest DPS (Damage) available. You can farm the regular enemies to get the Imperial Soldier’s Spear. However, you can also use the Spear that you receive upon completing the trial. Do note that you will need the Moonlight and Moonlight Stance skills to defeat the Blade Phantom.
- The Moonlight skill essentially makes the third and final attack of a swift attack a slashing attack. Pairing this with the Moonlight Stance grants you additional afterimage attacks, which deal bonus stance/stamina damage.
- The Moonlight combo essentially deals double the base stamina damage, which is how we’re going to defeat the Blade Phantom.
- At the start of the battle, you can use a Vitality Sphere to hasten stamina recovery.
- In the first phase, focus primarily on attacking the boss. Stay close to the Blade Phantom and don’t dodge its attacks. Instead, block/parry his attacks and counterattack with the Moonlight slash.
- In the second phase, you can choose to parry the boss’ claw swipes for bonus stance damage. However, parrying is not mandatory. You can stick to dodging attacks and punishing with a counter-thrust followed by a Moonlight slash (mash Square or X).
Using this method and loadout, you will be able to easily defeat the Blade Phantom.
