The release of the Rise of the Angry Earth DLC has only added fuel to the fire, bringing in a fresh wave of adventurers eager to unravel the game’s secrets.
Yesterday, Amazon Games’ widely-known MMORPG, New World, together with the Angry Earth Rise DLC expansion, became available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This has expanded the game’s player base significantly. Some of these newcomers might encounter difficulties in finding enemies such as Vanash, completing quests or solving puzzles. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to finish one of these challenging missions called Verdant Restoration.
How to Complete Verdant Restoration Puzzle in New World Aeternum
In Windsward, you’ll find the main quest named Verdant Restoration. To start this quest, have a chat with Nessa Harrow. However, be aware that this quest is best suited for characters who have reached level 15.
Initially, make your way to Mirador Shrine. Look beneath the damaged steps in the temple’s lower area for a solution to the puzzle – the bright glyphs in the pattern of X, P and a Trident. Subsequently, explore the lower sections of the ruins where you will discover three stones adorned with symbols. Your objective is to rotate these stones so their symbols align with the ones previously mentioned.
In this location, you’ll encounter other players who are working on the same puzzle as you. Keep in mind that there might be confrontations with opponents too, so it’s wise to gear up for potential conflicts.
At the end you must talk with Nessa Harrow again. For this quest, you will receive rewards:
- 2,530 XP,
- 46 Coin,
- 175 Standing,
- 10 Azoth,
- Nimble Burglar’s Gloves.
