How to complete Pokopia Timed Research in Pokemon Go

To celebrate the success of Pokemon Pokopia, Pokemon Go is hosting a special event featuring Ditto! Players can look forward to themed Pokemon appearances, extra bonuses, and a unique Timed Research quest.

I’m so excited about this new Timed Research! It’s all about doing what I love in Pokémon GO – catching Pokémon, getting out and exploring, and hitting up all the PokeStops. And the best part? Completing the tasks gets us awesome rewards like items and Stardust, plus chances to catch some super cute Pokémon like Pikachu and Snorlax, and other special ones from this cozy event!

Completing the research tasks will definitely let you find two special Ditto: one with a cap and one with a hat, similar to how they appear in Pokopia!

Here’s every task you’ll need to complete before the event ends.

Pokemon Pokopia Celebration event: Date & time

The Pokopia celebration will take place from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, and continue until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, local time.

Don’t forget to finish everything and collect your rewards by the deadline! If you don’t, the research will be gone, and you’ll lose all the work you’ve done.

This special research has just one stage with 10 tasks. You can work on these tasks in any order as you play during the event.

Upon completion, players will get x10,000 XP and x10 Pokemon Pokopia stickers.
