As a seasoned player who’s been through countless virtual festivals, let me tell you, the Moon-Chasing Festival in Wuthering Waves is like no other! The business mini-game to build stalls for the festival might seem daunting at first, but trust me, it’s an exciting challenge that adds a unique layer of engagement.
As a gaming aficionado, I’m diving headfirst into the thrilling world of Festival Preparations II, focusing on the captivating Moon-Chasing Festival. An integral aspect of this event is a mini-business game where I gather Operation Funds to construct vibrant stalls for the grand celebration.
There are three Festival Preparation phases across the whole quest. This guide will focus on helping you complete Festival Preparations II, but I’ve included all the mini-game mechanics so you can complete the rest of the preparations later in the questline.
How to build stalls in the Wuthering Waves Moon-Chasing Festival
All Festival Preparations are done in the Wishing Stall located in a dedicated By Moon’s Grace pin in Taoyuan Vale. You can fast-travel directly to the location. Once there, interact with the stall to begin the business operations mini-game.
Build “Yumyum Haven”
At the outset of your adventure, you’ll receive instructions on how to construct the initial structure, known as “Yumyum Haven,” without needing to gather separate funds for it first. Once you’ve successfully built Yumyum Haven, a Side Quest titled “A Brief Respite” will become available for you to undertake.
Build “Fan Drawing Stall” & “Moon Shooter”
The primary task at hand involves constructing both the Fan Drawing Booth and Moon Shooter. However, before you can start building, you need to gather sufficient funds for this operation. It doesn’t matter which one you build first; I’ll guide you through the workings of each and provide some strategies to help you accumulate funds more swiftly.
First, activate the side mission titled “A Momentary Break“, accessible once you construct the Yumyum Haven. Finish this quest to gain Sanhua as a companion in the business operations mini-game.
Once you’ve finished the Side Quest, return to the By Moon’s Grace stall and opt for Submitting Requests. From here, you can pick any business strategy you wish to initiate.
Each business strategy will require a Budget, which costs Preparation Credits and Operation Funds. The higher the operation cost, the higher the guaranteed reward. I suggest choosing a business strategy with the highest cost.
To start your business strategy, refer to the Budget as the amount you’ll have to invest initially. During the early stages, funds won’t be easily depleted. However, as the game progresses, be cautious not to overspend on constructing stalls. It’s essential to reserve some funds for running your business. If you find yourself short on Preparation Credits, feel free to interact with the stall to receive 50 credits daily.
For every business strategy, there will be an ideal trait that complements each character’s unique strengths. Select up to three characters to emphasize these optimal traits. Please note that the gauge won’t reach full capacity immediately; this will happen only after significant progress in gameplay. Once prepared, click Start.
Based on the performance of your business, you’ll get Operation Funds and additional resources. The objective is to maximize profits for swift construction of the necessary stalls. To achieve this, just keep following the same process until you accumulate sufficient funds.
To connect with characters you’ve gathered during the event, simply press the “Companions” button located at the bottom right corner of your screen. Each interaction (chatting, exchanging gifts, planning, and traveling) requires a certain amount of “Wishes”. These interactions will boost your character’s stats, making it simpler to earn profits. I strongly advise you to engage frequently with your characters as Wishes are abundant.
Look at the “Fair Stalls” area to determine if there is sufficient Operating Funds available to set up the needed stalls during each Festival Preparation phase. The expenses for Festival Preparation Phase 2 are outlined below:
- Moon Shooter Stall: 6,000 Operation Funds
- Fan Drawing Stall: 2,000 Operation Funds
1) It’s crucial to have more money than needed before starting these kiosks, as this will ensure there’s enough left for future business endeavors. Opening a stall grants you a Side Mission, which upon completion rewards you with a new assistant for your enterprise. Accomplishing these Side Missions and acquiring companions is essential to meet the prerequisites for advanced Festival Planning.
