During my exploration, Alma might casually inquire, “See something unusual carrying something?” This is a hint that a beast with an Ancient Wyvern Coin isn’t far off. It won’t happen every time, but it pays to be vigilant and check these zones often, just in case the notification pops up.
If Alma sends you a message, you’ll encounter a crab holding a coin. Use your Capture Net – which you might have previously used during the Dareel’s Research Report quest – to catch it. Once the target glows yellow, you’ll be ready to earn the trophy.
Individuals accessing Zone 13 are required to approach the cave opening, a spot familiar from the weapon tutorial in “Monster Hunter Wilds”.
