How to Build Perfect Water Pump System in Once Human

As a dedicated player of Once Human, I can’t stress enough the importance of having a constant supply of clean water for survival. Having gone through numerous struggles and setbacks due to insufficient water resources, I can confidently say that setting up an automatic water system is a game-changer.

In Once Human, consuming untreated water can make you sick, but purifying it eliminates this risk and is essential for creating various necessities like acid for valuable resources. Maintaining both hydration and safety relies on establishing a water system. This tutorial will demonstrate how to set up an automated solution: connecting a Water Pump to a Water Filter. This arrangement guarantees a consistent flow of clean, potable water.

Once Human – Water Pump System Guide

In the world of Once Human, having a consistent source of water is essential for your existence. Here’s an simple method to establish a system ensuring you stay hydrated and prepared for any situation:

  1. Unlock Rainwater Collection System, Water Storage, Water Filter, and Water Pumps in the Managing Tree form the Memetics System.
  2. Build a Solar Generator, the whole setup requires 16W to function.
  3. Construct a three-level building.
  4. Put a Rainwater Collection System (Log x30, Shabby Fabric x15, Rubber x5) on the top floor. Ensure there’s no roof above it to collect rainwater.
  5. Build a Compact Water Filter (Log x50, Adhesive x15, Charcoal x20, Steel Ingot x15) on the second floor and connect it to a power source.
  6. Build a big Water Pump (Steel Ingot x25, Carbon Fiber Fabric x20, Refined Parts x20, Standard Parts x20, Electronic Accessory x20) on the ground (first) floor. It’s the one that requires 10W. It pulls out dirty water from the ground, so it must be installed directly on the ground, not on a foundation. Connect it to a power source.
  7. Build a small Water Pump (Refined Parts x10, Steel Ingot x30, Electronic Accessory x2), it’s the one that requires 1W. It serves to move water to a higher elevation. Build it on a wall just above the big Water Pump and connect it to a power source.
  8. Build a Water Bucket (Log x50, Adhesive x5, Metal Scraps x15) on the ground (first) floor, near Water Pumps.
  9. With everything built and powered, start the connecting process. It’s crucial to connect the pipes in the correct order to ensure efficient water flow.
  10. While in build mode, approach the big Water Pump and press V to connect it with the small Water Pump (the one on the wall).
  11. Create a pipe from Small Water Pump to Compact Water Filter.
  12. Make another connection from Compact Water Filter to Water Bucket.
  13. Create a connection from Rainwater Collection System to Compact Water Filter.

With all things arranged correctly, you’ll soon have an abundant supply of purified water.

As a gamer, I can tell you that this large water pump is quite versatile in my virtual world. Instead of just drawing water from the ground like a typical pump would, it has the ability to extract valuable resources when placed in specific environments. For instance, if I position it on a beach, it will draw out salt instead. And amazingly, if I place it on an oil field, it will pump out crude oil instead! Isn’t that cool?
