“House of the Dragon” has added three new cast members for its upcoming third season.
Three talented actors – Tom Cullen (“The Gold,” “Trespasses”), Joplin Sibtain (“Andor,” “Safe”), and Barry Sloane (“Sandman,” “Revenge”) – have signed on for the next season of the popular “Game of Thrones” prequel. In this new role, Tom Cullen will portray Ser Luthor Largent, while Joplin Sibtain is set to embody Ser “Bold” Jon Roxton, and Barry Sloane will take on the character of Ser Adrian Redfort.

The freshly-introduced actors are now part of the ensemble that includes returning talents: Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, and Abubakar Salim.
For Season 3, we’ve got some exciting new additions to the cast: James Norton will be playing Ormund Hightower, while Tommy Flanagan takes on the role of Lord Roderick Dustin, and Dan Fogler steps into the character of Ser Torrhen Manderly.
Production for ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 is underway. This series takes place around 200 years before the stories in ‘Game of Thrones.’ It’s adapted from George R.R. Martin’s book, ‘Fire & Blood.’
Martin collaborated with Ryan Condal in developing the series. Together, they hold positions as executive producers, where Condal is specifically designated as the showrunner. Additionally, Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett all serve as executive producers. Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere are the directors for season three.
