Despite Kevin Costner harboring great expectations for Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2, its continuation is uncertain.

In an interview with ScreenRant’s Grant Hermanns regarding her upcoming thriller, Unit 234, Isabelle Fuhrman (playing Diamond) expressed some uncertainty about the future of Horizon. Although she is optimistic about it being released someday, Costner has not communicated with her about any potential release plans. Interestingly, Fuhrman is particularly intrigued by a possible sequel since it delves deeper into the women of that period, creating a richer and more comprehensive world that she hopes will eventually lead to the production of a third installment. Here’s a snippet from her interview:

“I really hope we get to see a release for Horizon, as I believe it captures so much more of the women of that era, setting up this whole world. A sequel would be exciting because it allows us to explore even further and delve deeper into the lives of these characters.

I agree with you. Just like you, I’m eagerly waiting for the release of the second one. As for what Kevin has up his sleeve, I haven’t got a clue. But given his style and my admiration for the second film, I can only hope that it’s something fantastic. The second movie, in my opinion, delves deeper into the lives of those women during that era, offering a richer portrayal than the first one did. I truly hope people will appreciate it when it comes out, as it would pave the way for a third installment. However, at the moment, I’m working on another project and can only cross my fingers for a call from Kevin soon. [Laughs] That’d be fantastic!
