All Bloodbathed Battlefront Golden Scapegoat Puzzles | Tutorial and Puzzle Basics
Amongst all regions in Amphoreus within Honkai: Star Rail 3.0, the “Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos contains fewer Golden Scapegoat puzzles compared to most other areas. Generally speaking, you’ll find 4 such puzzles in other locations, but here, there are only 3 to solve. To help you navigate these challenges more efficiently, let’s discuss the fundamental workings of the Golden Scapegoat puzzle before we delve into their solutions in Castrum Kremnos.
In the game, you’ll find golden statues shaped like a goat’s head scattered throughout the main world. By approaching these statues, you can activate the Golden Scapegoat puzzles.
To solve the puzzle, aim to transport your Golden Scapegoat right up to the altar so you can ignite it.
Or more concisely:
The objective of this puzzle is to bring your Golden Scapegoat to the altar and light it.
Once I’ve executed a specific sequence of moves, a mirror image of myself seems to materialize. This doppelganger faithfully replicates the moves I performed prior to its appearance and then remains motionless.
You have 4 moves before the shadow becomes stationary. The crucial turning point is after you make a left move for the second time. After this, keep following the pattern (right, left). But be careful not to bump into your shadow or else the puzzle resets!
At times, you may have to activate colored pressure pads called Ancient Crystalline Controllers. These devices will guide you towards the altar. Many of the challenges involve arranging your steps in such a way that your shadow replica stands on the pad, allowing access for you.
Now that the fundamentals are established, let’s delve into uncovering and resolving each and every Golden Scapegoat puzzle within this region!
“Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos – Golden Scapegoat Puzzle #1
The first challenge in this guide is located at the northwestern corner on level B1, within the Bloodbathed Battlefront. To reach the puzzle, you’ll need to navigate through some obstacles, including the Shrine of Prayers and boulders scattered around the area, which can be moved to clear your path.
Or
The first puzzle in this guide is situated at the northwestern edge of floor B1 within Bloodbathed Battlefront. To access it, you’ll have to maneuver through certain blockades using landmarks like the Shrine of Prayers and strategically placed boulders in the region.
The Golden Scapegoat riddle presents a path with five stages. To reveal your silhouette, perform the series of actions: move to the right, then move to the right again, followed by a step down, another right move, and finally moving right once more. In other words, follow this sequence: go right twice, go down, then go right twice again.
As soon as your shadow shows up on the far-right blue dish, move one step to your left and ascend the ladder afterward.
Then just go all the way left to reach the altar!
“Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos – Golden Scapegoat Puzzle #2
The Golden Scapegoat riddle can be solved at the northwestern corner of the Hall of Strife, specifically in area F1 of the Bloodbathed Battlefront. Just like previously, you’ll need to manipulate time on the boulders to remove obstacles and reach the puzzle’s location.
As a gamer, I’ve only got five shots before that eerie shadow makes its return. Here’s my playbook for these critical moves: Left, Right, Right, Down, and then another Right. Let’s hope this strategy keeps the shadow at bay!
When you see your shadow again, take another step to the right to land on the golden plate located on the right side of the puzzle.
As I’m waiting, I’ll follow my path while veering slightly to the left. My shadow is making a beeline for that blue dish down below, so I’ll need to steer clear of it as I go.
Once the shadow has completed its walk, proceed to move towards the right so you’ll land on the altar, thereby solving the puzzle.
“Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos – Golden Scapegoat Puzzle #3
The last Golden Scapegoat riddle in this region is located on the upper level, specifically the north part of the F2 floor. You can get there with the least effort by ascending from the Chisel Zone Space Anchor.
You’ll find the shadow in just 6 steps this time. First, head to the left from the entrance, then take five consecutive steps to your right. That’s when you’ll encounter the golden platform, and the shadow will make its appearance.
As soon as the shadow emerges, follow this sequence of movements: go to the left, then left again, then descend, followed by another left move, and finally ascend. This strategy involves utilizing the ladders to ensure you don’t encounter the shadow directly.
Then, just continue left to drop onto the golden plate at the bottom left of the screen.
Move straight ahead towards the right until you reach the altar. That’s where your shadow will land, completing the path for this puzzle!
The “Bloodbathed Battlefront” section in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 features all the Golden Scapegoat puzzles you’ll find. Yet, it’s not just this area that holds these puzzles.
