Games is planning to release a expanded version of Hogwarts Legacy titled the “Definitive Edition.” This new edition is expected to offer approximately 10-15 hours of extra gameplay, including a fresh storyline, additional missions, costumes, and other enhancements. It’s also rumored that this updated version will be offered as downloadable content for those who have already purchased Hogwarts Legacy.
The proposed timeline for the Definitive Edition and additional DLC could be as early as 2025, due to Warner Bros. Games aiming to compensate for the continuous financial losses stemming from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s poor performance. In fact, just last month, Warner Bros. expressed that developing a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is one of their highest priorities. Releasing the DLC may help soften the gap between the initial game and its successor.
