Although it was believed that Hillary Swank would portray Alex, a different actress, Jaylee Hamidi, stepped into the role as revealed in the closing credits of Season 3 Episode 7.

Yellowjackets News announced via Twitter that Jaylee Hamidi is set to portray Alex, Hannah’s daughter, in the upcoming third season. A user commented, “Isn’t this role supposed to be played by Hilary Swank?

In simpler terms, one person said, “Hilary Swank isn’t the daughter,” and another commented, “Initially, I thought she was the daughter, but in the end, it turns out that Jaylee Hamidi plays the role of Alex.

It seems highly plausible that she’s conversing with Shauna, given that in the recent episode, Shauna was the one who listened to the entire tape, including the part where Hannah expressed her desire: “I wanted you to be proud of me, not just a mother dealing with a teen pregnancy.

Instead of looking up Hannah and finding her obituary, she decides to leave her family consisting of Tai, Van, and Misty behind, choosing instead to visit Alex. She carries a freshly acquired hunting knife with her during this visit.

In the Season 3 trailer, there appear to be additional hints about the events that unfold, as it depicts Swank’s character leaving several vehicles behind and fleeing down the road with blood on her face.
