The physical competition in Asia has ended with a winning team! However, some fans have wondered if the results were fair, specifically mentioning the intense selection process used by Team Mongolia. Here’s a look at the members of that East Asian team. Be warned: spoilers follow!
Physical 100’s new series brought together teams from nine countries – Korea, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia, Turkey, and the Philippines – to compete in challenging physical challenges and determine the fittest nation. After twelve episodes, the team representing Korea emerged as the winner.
Fans accused Team Korea of rigging the competition because they hosted it and the team members had previously competed on Physical 100. However, viewers also noted that Team Mongolia, who finished second, went through a very thorough selection process as well.
According to physical competition producer Jang Ho-gi, each team on the show chose famous athletes from their country – like Manny Pacquiao for the Philippines – to maximize their chances of winning and highlight their national talent. Here’s a look at the athletes representing Team Mongolia.
Here’s the Team Mongolia cast on Physical: Asia

Team Mongolia and Team Korea competed in the final round of Physical: Asia, battling it out in three challenges: wall-pushing, iron ball dragging, and infinite tail tagging.
In the end, Korea proved too strong for Mongolia, winning the one billion won prize (around $700,000) and the lasting honor of victory.
Team Captain: Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan

Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan captained Team Mongolia to the final round. Back home, he’s a celebrated Bokh wrestler and the current national champion, having won the prestigious Naadam National Wrestling Championship.
In 2022, he competed in and won the President’s Cup, defeating 128 other wrestlers. His impressive strength was key to becoming captain of Team Mongolia, and he also showed skill in events like sack toss.

He first represented his country on the national team in 2013 and has since participated in the Asia Cup on four occasions. He achieved silver medals in both 2018 and 2019, and secured gold medals in 2017 and 2023.
