Capcom has announced a new sales milestone for its fan favourite action RPG, Dragon’s Dogma 2.
The popular sequel has now sold over 4 million copies, according to the game’s official social media accounts.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 came out in March 2024, and it took about 20 months to sell 5 million copies. The game initially sold 3 million copies within its first few months after release.
While fans are happy to celebrate the news, many responses are asking after some sort of DLC.
I loved the original Dragon’s Dogma, and it got this amazing expansion called Dark Arisen. Now that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is out, a lot of us are really hoping Capcom adds a big expansion for this one too – Dark Arisen really added so much to the first game, and we’d love to see that happen again!
It’s currently unknown if any additional content is planned for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Capcom hasn’t hinted at any expansions, but it remains a possibility.
Even with a few minor issues, the game was well-received and continues to be updated – the latest updates were released in April.
