Heinz finally releases DJ Mustard collab & its at Buffalo Wild Wings

Four months after revealing their partnership, Heinz has launched its collaboration with DJ Mustard on a new condiment.

In November 2024, renowned rapper Kendrick Lamar released a fresh album titled “GNX,” which was inspired by one of his cherished vehicles – the Buick Grand National.

In that particular album, there’s a track titled TV Off, where Kendrick Lamar shouts out his producer, DJ Mustard. This shout-out quickly spread like wildfire on social media platforms, inspiring numerous ‘Mustard’ memes by users and brands alike.

In the month of February, 2025, Heinz disclosed a collaboration with DJ Mustard aimed at developing a unique condiment under his brand. At last, this long-awaited product is now ready for fans to purchase and enjoy.

If you’re unable to visit a Bdubs within its two-week exclusive timeframe, be sure to watch for it at your nearby grocery store. As per Allrecipes, Heinz is planning to distribute the product to Walmart, Target, Amazon, and other retailers in the future.

DJ Mustard, whose real name is Dijon, shared his thoughts behind creating the new flavor.

He mentioned that he desired a hint of sweetness in his sauce, as it helps achieve the desirable caramelization and crust formation while grilling. However, after deciding on the sweetness, he left room for creativity.

I sampled numerous variations of remixes with the Heinz team, experimenting with diverse flavors such as jalapeños, bacon, and chipotle peppers. Eventually, it boiled down to three top choices before I selected what I believed was the best mustard among all mustards.
