Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Developing a Hulu Project About Losing Their Home in Pacific Palisades

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, famous for their appearances on “The Hills,” are working on a new project with Hulu, focusing on their life experiences following the loss of their home in the Pacific Palisades during the catastrophic LA fires in January.

Pratt revealed the news during a chat, as the pair found themselves engaged in a discussion, at the EbMaster Entertainment Marketing Summit hosted by Deloitte on Thursday, right in the heart of Hollywood.

The pair expressed interest in creating a show centered on rejuvenating their lives following a tragic event. Additionally, they’ve been considering a series focusing on their overall family dynamics.

During the discussion led by Kate Aurthur from EbMaster, Montag mentioned that music would be an essential element of our family’s life, contributing to our overall dynamic and unity as a team.

At the moment, a series hasn’t been formally planned as of yet. However, Chris Pratt mentioned that he’s heard YouTube is quite approachable to collaborate with, which garnered chuckles from the audience who were already familiar with YouTube’s marketing tactics, having learned about them earlier at the event held in Hollywood’s Neuehouse.

Additionally, they provided information about their current circumstances. When inquired about reconstructing their home, Montag mentioned that due to financial constraints and insurance complications, the couple were uncertain if they could carry out such a project. Essentially, they plan to deal with each day as it comes.

Currently, the family resides in Santa Barbara. However, here’s some exciting news – Pratt mentioned that hummingbirds are returning!

Pratt discussed encouraging folks to financially back the family by streaming Montag’s album titled “Superficial.” He confessed that earning profits had proven challenging. “Let me tell you something about the music industry,” he stated, “it requires a great deal of effort to make money.

“Yes, we made some money, but I probably should have just done more cameos,” Pratt added.

Montag choked up as he discussed the couple’s handling of the situation, and he mentioned that Pratt was using TikTok to livestream in order to rally more support for their family.

Montag expressed pride when he had to help the children adjust to a new school and a move, which was an emotional time for everyone. He was amazed by Spencer’s ability to support our family during this transition, and it was inspiring for the kids to see such resilience. This demonstration of moving forward served as a valuable example for them too.

Apart from that, Pratt shared how he leverages modern-day platforms like social media – something unavailable during “The Hills” era – to cultivate a following.

More recently, the pair made an appearance on the Hulu reality competition series called “Got to Get Out.” Pratt has been proposing an idea for a show based around Montag’s music.

I’m unsure if Hulu, ABC, or Disney have restricted my access due to the numerous messages and emails I’ve sent suggesting ideas such as ‘Let’s create our own show featuring Heidi as a pop star, number one in fifteen countries,’ which I’ve shared with them.” (First-person perspective as a fan expressing their uncertainty)

Additionally, the duo discussed their strategic utilization of the paparazzi system throughout their careers. Pratt elaborated on the sequence of incidents that culminated in his collaborations with photographers, while Montag clarified their motives behind forging those connections.

Initially, when we engaged with Perez, we were met with disdain for doing so,” Montag expressed.

She mentioned that the couple had been told to keep their distance, but instead, they questioned, “Why shouldn’t we join him? Isn’t that a more logical decision?

Next up, Montag is set to perform at the Mighty Hoopla festival in June. She described this as her “most significant performance” yet, expressing her enthusiasm about it. “I’m really looking forward to it,” Montag stated.
